About the College

The Upper Room Bible College was established in 1996 as a Theological Seminary of distinction with unusual richness in academic and spiritual development. By practice and tradition of close and personal contact, the College brings the students closer to the frontiers of theological knowledge in a manner that is rarely achieved in other seminaries. It is therefore a great privilege to undergo any of our programmes. Our motivation is the LORD’S great commission. “Go ye into the entire World and preach the Gospel to every creature”.

The programmes have been designed to:

– Help you to study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth
– Deepen your spiritual life and make your work with the Lord a more meaningful and rewarding experience
– Establish and ground you in the area of sound biblical doctrine, leadership, church evangelism and missions’ work.
– Show you how to be steadfast in your Christian life and reign with the Lord at the end.

The College Objectives

– Assist the believers to grow in the knowledge of the word of God.
– Help committed Christians achieve a greater spiritual height and also develop character traits that are necessary to those who would be qualified for leadership in the ministry.
– Help participants to differentiate between callings with a view to making all useful workers in any capacity they are led to.
– Train men and women to women to serve in various capacities as ministers, Youth Leaders, Leader of small groups, Pastors, Evangelist, Missionaries, and the like
– Prepare men and women for mission fields, serving in prisons, hospital and school ministries.
– Prepare men and women for Career in teaching, training, research and publications in the ministry
